Welcome to Altars (“the App”), operated by Vorentoo Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using Altars.

1. Purpose of Altars

Altars is a platform that allows users to share testimonies (text, audio, video, and images), view testimonies from others, and access features designed to support spiritual growth. Altars is not a social media app and does not include likes, comments, or follower systems.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Altars. By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content that you upload (“User Content”).
By posting on Altars, you confirm that the content is your own and does not infringe on any third-party rights.

3.2 Licence to Us

By posting content on Altars, you grant Vorentoo Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving Altars, including use on:

  • Our social media channels

  • Marketing materials

  • Website

  • Product demonstrations

  • Educational or promotional content

This licence continues only while your content remains on the App.

3.3 Removal of Content + Licence Expiry

If you delete a testimony (an “Altar”) or delete your account entirely:

  • The content is permanently removed from your profile and the App

  • The licence granted to us for future use ends

  • Any content we have already used publicly (e.g., a social media post) may continue to exist in published form

We will never reuse your deleted content in new marketing once your account is removed.

4. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You may delete your account at any time within the App settings.

When you delete your account:

  • All your testimonies (“Altars”) are permanently erased

  • All personal data associated with your account is removed from our active systems

  • We retain only the minimal information required for legal compliance (e.g., fraud prevention or record-keeping)

This action cannot be undone.

5. User Responsibilities

When using Altars, you agree NOT to:

  • Upload or share sexual, explicit, suggestive, or pornographic content of any kind

  • Upload nudity, sexualised images, graphic content, or anything that violates public decency

  • Upload harmful, abusive, illegal, or misleading content

  • Impersonate any person

  • Upload copyrighted content that you do not own

  • Use the App for commercial advertising, spam, or solicitation

  • Upload medical claims presented as professional advice

We reserve the full right to:

  • Remove any content that violates these guidelines

  • Suspend or permanently delete any account involved in uploading sexual or explicit content, without notice

  • Report illegal content to the relevant authorities where required by law

Altars is a platform dedicated to honouring God, uplifting others, and sharing testimonies. Any content that contradicts this purpose will be removed immediately.

 

6. App Availability & Changes

Altars may experience downtime, updates, or feature changes. We may modify or discontinue parts of the App at any time.

We may also introduce new premium or paid features in the future. Your continued use of Altars after new features are introduced constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

7. Premium Features (Future Updates)

Altars is currently free to use.
We may introduce:

  • Subscription plans

  • In-app purchases

  • Paid upgrades

  • Additional premium features

We will always communicate pricing changes clearly before they take effect.

8. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with those documents.

9. Limitation of Liability

Altars is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted service.
We are not liable for:

  • Loss of testimonies

  • User misunderstandings

  • Spiritual advice outcomes

  • Issues caused by third-party services or outages

You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App means you accept the revised Terms.
