We never collect sensitive data not required for the core purpose of the app.

  • Show testimonies from your church family or global community

3. Your Control & Your Choices

You have full control over your testimony content:

  • You can delete any of your testimonies at any time.

  • You can edit your testimony content.

  • You can remove your church association if you prefer.

  • You can delete your entire account, and we’ll permanently remove your data from our systems.

4. Public vs. Private Content

Altars is a platform for public testimonies, but you choose what becomes public.

  • Anything you publish as a testimony is visible to the global Altars community

We encourage wisdom in sharing your story — share only what you are comfortable making public.

5. Protecting Your Data

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted passwords

  • Secure cloud storage

  • Regular security audits

  • Access controls so only authorized systems can view your data

  • No unnecessary third-party integrations

Your data is safe, and so is your testimony.

Altars is not designed for children under 13.
If we become aware of an underage account, we will remove it promptly.

  • If you delete your account, all associated data will be removed permanently within a reasonable timeframe.
